WANTED - LARGE TYPE BR PLASTIC ROOF VENTS
Wanted: BR Plastic roof ventilator grills as fitted to the ceilings of coaching stock including Mk1's and some classes of DMU/EMU - 10 required. Please note there are two sizes: small and large. The small type are approx 6" diameter, more common and typically found in compartments and guards vans. The larger versions are from passenger saloons and are approx 12" diameter. It is the LARGE versions that are required. Willing to pay £10-£20 each as, whilst made of plastic and of no value outside of preservation, they appear to be quite rare now!

WANTED - HIGHLAND DOOR LOCKS
The Scottish Railway Preservation Society have a 6 wheeled Highland Railway carriage which has doors that only open on the one side as there were not enough locks to go round the coach when it was being restored from service departmental use at Inverness in the early 1960s. Seven are required, the lock may be common to stock built by other companies at the same time.

WANTED - GER CARRIAGE SPARES

WANTED - LUGGAGE RACK BRACKETS
Yet another request! I was just wondering if anyone had any luggage rack brackets - we're looking for quite a minimum of 42 for our BCDR carriage 148. We've any number of 3rd class but no intact ones at all (even for a pattern!) of 2nd or 1st. In any of the carriages that we have salvaged they have been removed for some reason, although the netting has survived!

GNSR Luggage Rack Brackets, not early Ashbury type. Even if you only have one, we can use it as a pattern!
1 complete 6-wheel chassis, preferably with 3 ft 6 inch wheels;
1 3 ft 6 inch Mansell wheelset
Suitable 6 ft springs and brake components;
1 pair of w-irons and axleboxes to suit above wheelset;
2 sets buffers and buffer stocks to suit pre-grouping 6-wheel coach;
1 set coupling gear to suit pre-grouping 6-wheel coach;
Also any original GNSR coach chassis parts.
