FOR DISPOSAL – Partially Stripped LNWR carriage underframe
The underframe of LNWR TK bogie carriage No. 3061 (LDM395328) built in 1907 is available for disposal at Havenstreet, Isle of Wight Steam Railway. What is available is the basic frame with drawbar, handbrake and buffer castings. Remaining parts including bogies & centre castings, buffers and some other minor parts are being retained.

Mechanicaly good, last used in 1990s. Heating, lighting, charging system, vac brakes, bogies, all in order then. Stored since, some restoration started, since stopped so interior partly dismantled. Probably wants interior repanelling, some new floor, some bodywork welding, double glazed windows replacing, attention to fibreglass doors, a re-trim. Though the interior is dismantled I am pretty sure that all parts are there, some spares are included. Underframe components all intact as last operated, apart from batteries and steam heat cocks and hoses.

For Sale - Mk1 CK - currently stored at a private none railway location. Current owner has had it for more than 12 years, condition is fair/good/poor depending where you look. Interior pretty complete and original as per 70/80s retirement from BR. Half the interior has been removed for renovation and is presently in store. Compartment side is fair condition, roof too, corridor side needs a bit more work. Sills have been replaced Some of the items not present include the toilet water tanks, dynamo , both toilets and one sink. Areas in poor condition are crash pillars, some doors, some window corners. Offers around £15k, no vat.

Currently at Mid Norfolk Railway. BR1 Bogies, Vacuum brakes, dual heated. Complete apart from some ETH parts which are removed but included, one toilet pan which is also removed but included, needs dynamo belt, steam heat hoses and valvery. Southern Region Green, has a brake issue at present. Toilet end pillars and door posts will need doing. Upholstery has seen better days. Has one good toilet, the tyres and 6 metal door frames. Offers in the region of £12,000 - £16,000.

Available for loan/hire or possibly a sale would be considered. Mk1 courier van 977905 (formerly BSK 35292). On B4 bogies and dual braked / dual heat. Retains a toilet and 1 compartment, guards compartment and luggage area. Passenger doors are cast aluminium and in general the bodywork is reasonably good. Moved mainline a few years ago to its current location. Absolutely ideal for a conversion to an accessible coach or even back to a full BSK. Some spare matching window frames available if required.

FOR SALE - LMS TUBE WAGON M336550
Believed now unique survivor of diagram D1675, built at Wolverton 1933. Unfitted. Built with flat doors - later builds had angled doors and longer wheelbase. Requires a complete rebuild likely to include new kerb rails, welding on the corner posts, all new wood. Brake cross-shaft is bent, however a spare (off a fitted wagon) can be included with the sale. Currently lying at Swithland on the Great Central Railway. Will be emptied of stored materials prior to sale. Open to offers.
